    Welcome to Desu!

That's a brave move! Leaving everything behind like that is a big decision and a tough one as well. My boyfriend did the same thing three years ago, and it was a difficult process, especially the part about getting a job before your language skills are up to scratch. He wrote a lot about the experience on his blog, which might have some tidbits of advice for anyone else doing the same.

It's going to take time, regardless, I'm afraid, and remember that network is everything when it comes to getting a job in Norway, that and the language. One of the things I would strongly suggest to you is to do some unpaid voluntary work. This means you can fill up your cv with Norwegian references, and practice the language. Kindergartens are brilliant for this, if you're comfortable around children, because they really are great teachers when it comes to language!

Whereabouts in Norway have you moved to?

    Dear Bella

Welcome to us here on the forum, to Norway and I think it's a brave thing you did
moving away from everything & everyone you know and gamble everything on love.

Just goes to show that some people are not afraid to take a chance on love which I
find fantastic. My wife did the same thing 10 years back when she left her family,
friends, shut down her company - all for me - and moved to Norway...

    -=-

    As a side note...

As long as you speak English it's not hopeless to get a job without knowing the
native language. My company -among others- hire many people from all over
the world where the working language is English.

If you want some tips - feel free to contact me. I have left you my email in a
    private nessage.

    -=-

    Once again : Welcome

    Hi Xarien^^

That is so nice of you really!
I love my family and friends back home and in the start i was abit afraid i admit^^ But i have no regrets what so ever!
Back home I told my friends and Family " You only have one life, If you wanne live to the fullist you need to take some risks "
The support of my mom, brother and stephdad was incredible! They never thought a second of holding me back <3
And my friends... Well they came on a holiday to Norway this summer *hihihi*

I think its is really important to learn the language and show to andy, his family and outsiders that i am serious about this!

Also it is super brave that you`re wife did al of that wauw ! I respect that allot!

Thank you for the pm and for the warm welcome!

Hopefully i will make some friends soon^^
